What is GSCC?
GSCC stands for Gold Standard Compliance Certification. It is the founder-pioneered certification standard for closed-loop offshore, off-Earth, home, and civic utilities. Originated by Kameron Katsch, founder of THE WHOLE THING. NYSE ticker GSCC reserved by Project Institute.
The LEED of the high seas + space
LEED — Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design — is the de facto certification standard for green buildings on land. It works because there is a shared substrate (a building, a parcel of land, a city) that everyone understands and inspects.
GSCC fills the equivalent gap for closed-loop utilities operating in environments LEED was never designed to cover:
- Offshore — Project Kontrast units on the high seas (KTOEI vertical)
- Off-Earth — Project Kontrast extension into space (KTISI vertical)
- Per-home life-cycle — Project Infinity stacks (KTAHI vertical)
- Civic grid — Project Institute deployments (KTALI vertical · 3,143 US counties + international tier)
What GSCC certifies
GSCC applies cross-cutting across the four operating principles:
- Nutrients — flow integrity in and out of the closed loop
- Environment — substrate-as-integration vs substrate-as-dependency
- Absorption — designed input absorption rates
- Closed-Loop — leak-zero loop integrity, audited
Every Kontrast Unit on the high seas + space, every Infinity home stack, every Institute civic grid carries the GSCC stamp. Storage and delivery cycles are individually certified. Independent compliance verification with audit-trace per unit, per cycle.
Founder principle
"First-ever utility by founder. Each unit and storage delivery will have this stamp." — Kameron Katsch
The certification standard is non-negotiable across every deployment of every project. It is the trust layer that makes the closed-loop framework auditable to sovereign capital, multilateral regulators, and downstream operators.
NYSE: GSCC reserved
